I had the pleasure of visiting Somerset Flooring’s Kentucky Headquarters this past week. Before going, I already has my impressions of Somerset being one of the better US mills. When we left there, I had no doubt that Somerset is a first class company that produces a great U.S. made product. We were able to see first hand how they promoted sustainable forestry practices. There wasn’t an ounce of saw dust that went unused. Their quality control seemed to be first rate with a hands on manufacturing line from start to finish. If you are in the market for a quality pre-finished floor, there is no doubt in my mind that Somerset Hardwood Flooring would be the right choice.  In 2010 watch out for their new product offerings, a Character Grade prefinished floor as well as a new High Gloss line.
